Linegear Gold Mirror is not as Advertised

Hmmm Not to be a pain or a thorn
But has Linegear agreed to change the pictures on the web site?

Because as of this morning the pics for both Juliet and Mars are there.
Cudos to Linegear for giving the OP a refund
But the jest of this thread is indeed the misrepresentation of the pictures
Thus I feel the thread has merit until Linegear agrees to remove the suspect pictures
Then changing the title would be appropriate

Just my 2 cents

My thoughts exactly ...

I just looked at their site for that specific lens.

There is a first photo..... then "other" photos.... the other photos do give that impression. interesting that the first photo does not though.

Yes fix the problem, then ask for deletion. Dont just try to cover up bad reviews. That's what Liberals do. And Liberals dont do much.

And thats the point, the other pics give the impression of (24k ) kind of a look.
to me anyway
Thats the look I was after when I got mine several years ago for the Juliets
And the whole Mirror in the title is misleading in my opinion.

When you call out Mirror, I expect to see my reflection or at the least not be able to see my eyes thru the lens
In fact the Home page has a stunning Ruby Red lens in a Juliet
I wonder how true to that it really is.

Linegear has been good to work with, and they said they will refund my money once they receive the lenses back. I sent them some time last week. I'll update the OP as soon as I'm refunded, I don't know if I can do more than that though.

As far as the lenses, they first said that the lens suppliers change and the exact conditions of the lenses can sometimes change as well. I got another email after that saying the lenses were correct, and it not looking like the photographs on the website was down to lighting differences.

To me, they are advertising Gold Iridium replacements as 24k replacements, and I still believe it is misleading. I look forward to the refund and, again, it has been good dealing with them.
