That is a good point, not really a good lense for overcast/cloudy days.

Thanks for the info guys. This is what I was looking for. I just wanted to make sure it was so dark even bright days seemed like a Thunderstorm rolling in.

What about slightly less that super bright sunny days? Maybe with some clouds.

Yup. I have a set in my Splice. Looks like a more vibrant Ice Iridium from the outside, has a very nice bronze tint looking through. I’ll get a pic for you in a sec

I definitely recommend it for clear, bright days. If there are a couple clouds in the sky (sun going in and out) then it will also be ok.

I don't have my pair with me to take a picture right now, but I can try to get one when I get home from work.

Lens darkness based on conditions is subjection in my opinion. Pictures can really tell the story better.

Yeah, I need to pick up a pair of these as well. Linegear makes the BEST xmetal lenses IMO and these look fantastic...
