M Frame Strike Lenses

[386MFrames]

Hey everyone. Newcomer here. Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Just kind of started getting into this, but I've had a few pairs of 99 M Frames, and various others.

Anyways, to my point.

I've noticed that of my several pairs of strike lenses, there are two different sizes. Specifically width wise, some extend further outward near the hinge area. I originally assumed it was just aftermarket lenses, but the ones that came with my z87 frames made in 2016 are the same way. Is this just a new design?

Not sure about this but is the left one a Agro lens? @Rustpot

Pop the lens out of the frame and tell me what you see around the bridge of the lens? Any markings? Pic from the front? Sorry, too new for my area of expertise.
