M2 Frame XL redline vs red earsocks color difference

For my son's polished all black M2 Frame XL I need a pair of red earsocks. Yet I discovered there are two colors: Redline (SKU: 100-541-001) and Red (SKU: 100-852-008). According to Oakley support the former is slightly darker, but they were not sure.

He like to wear them with his Specialized apparel which is red-black-white.

Anybody with more info on this ?

I looked at both of them on the website and couldn't really tell much difference (but I'm colorblind so...).

In any case from experience Infrared is usually brighter than Redline.
