Seems overpriced IMO. Two other ones just sold for less. Plus eventually market prices will go down. It was worth $600 a few years ago.

Why would it go back down? There’s essentially zero available, and demand only seems to be rising over time

One of two things has to happen for the price to drop.... 1) Increased supply, which obviously isn't happening 2) Decreased demand.... less people collecting and wearing Oakleys. Which I don't see happening.

There was a period you could get them for a few hundred dollars so not sure how you can say that

Yes... and during that same period R1's were $400-$500 and Penny's were $400 and XX were $300... Days gone by and gone... as these pieces sink into collections not to resurface and people customize and change them and switch arms and polish the originals become more and more scarce ... Not to mention the market changes with the freedom to sell something online and not be taxed taken away has slowed availability to a crawl... I am pretty confident that you will not see a retreat of prices

I remember when R1's were $250-$300 and Juliets sold at $100 daily and then they jumped up to stated above prices and we all said "but surely they will go back down" It is a long standing dream of all X Metal collectors!
