Matte Clear w/ Ruby SGH Exclusive

Whats up guys, I just picked up a Matte Clear w/ ruby that was a SGH exclusive from 2011 and I have a few questions about it.
1. It did not come with a box, but do a lot of sgh exclusive pairs not have a box because they throw them out?
2. Were these a limited run or just an exclusive pair to sgh?

SGH rarely keeps boxes.
limited to SGH only. pretty valuable. They havent made anything close to it
