Actually i do. I just have to dig it out of its resting place. Also i will have to compare to my other two ti gold (got four). Just thought others already have an explanation..

I got a plasma pair n they do appear to be plasma at a glance. Mine also had rootbeer rubbers

Oh well, at least i got another plasma frame. Got an x metal frame with fire x metal etched, also as is. Lol. So all i need is x metal gold, ti black and plasma black to complete the trilogy mix n match...

I think in the flesh they are far easier to distinguish than in a photograph. You said originally the frame looked plasma, so if you have one you know is a definite plasma finish it should be fairly obvious. if you did not own a plasma frame I could see the difficulty.

Just got a pair. Mine is fairly matte in finish.. Will try and get some decent pics during daylight hours.
