Monster Dog Markings

No "Monster Dog" on my ear stems (at least on my camos). It's a little tuff to pick up in the pic....

Early Gen I (2003):
-"Oakley" Printed across nosebridge
-"MADE IN USA CE" printed on right stem
-Swing hinge

Late Gen I (2004-2005):
-"Oakley" no longer printed on nosebridge

Gen II (2005-):
-"MONSTERDOG" now present on left stem
-Locking cam hinge
-SKU now printed on non-custom models' stem

No Monster Dog on my two Snow Camo's or two Night Camo's either. This was the case with the early models.
I've colour coded my Snow Camo Icons blue with the Ice Lens & green with the Emerald Lens. Also got orange Icons in a set of Night Camo's with fire Lenses & my other pair of Night Camo's are standard at the moment but at some point they will have Ruby Lenses fitted so, again, the Icons will change colour.

You ever get bored of these Carlos let me know, but not too soon as I have to build my funds up again..................:thumb:

They're not supposed to be replaceable, but you can remove' em with hot water:

then you can paint them like I did, these were completely destroyed frames so I just gave 'em a new life...

What lens you got in those Night Camo's del? Can't quite make up my mind on VR28 or persimmon.

They are persimmon. They are one of my rainy day/cloudy pair. I wasn't to sure about the lens at first.....but I love em know.

How are the camo's with the green lenses? I saw those on Oakleys site and immediately wanted to do that...

Also, how would I go about removing the icons and paint them? What did you guys use to paint them?

malv, they are legit. no monster dog on my camos either. also the swing hinge arms is a dead give away of the older models (which i like better). very nice grab as your first md.
