It probably has more to do with the way the customs forms are filled out. If its wrong or shady than US customs will hold it....no matter where its coming from.

I’ve shipped to many countries in the past...the US postal service is majorly overworked/understaffed right now. That’s all...

I bought some Oakley gear from a guy in Venezuela it was here in 3 or 4 days

It was probably shipped DHL. Thats a private carrier and a good one.

Agreed. My local carrier was delivering today...they are working 12 hour shifts and 7 days a week. (Sorry, if this is redundant info, just sharing that USPS is taking steps to remedy the situation)

We need reliable shipping worldwide, I trawl the web looking for genuine lenses for my older Oakley's I don't understand why Oakley aren't making replacement lenses as we are paying more than RRP for new in box genuine lenses it wouldn't take long to set up the CNC machine to cut new MD lenses
