So what's the difference between that frame and the M2? I know nothing of these shield frames, but my son likes them a lot.

Palace version is pretty much a classic Mumbo/M-Frame made with reengineered plastic as to not be as brittle and last longer



M2 you could consider next gen iteration of the M-Frame, main advantage it has over the original M-Frame series is option of prizm lenses...
You can still use the older M-Frame lens with the M2... but you can't put a M2 lens on M-Frame unless you modify it
