You guys might be right. Van Hagar was totally bad @ss. I loved Sammy long before he teamed up with the VH brothers. So him joining was like the creation of a super band, and they ruled the rock world in the late 80's. My love for the DLR years is because that's what I grew up on. And each album represents a particular time in my grade school life. I can remember exactly what I was doing when I first heard each album. Or certain songs. Ahhh the memories. I was an adult by the time Sammy joined. So memories of Van Hagar are different, and don't make me feel as young. Lol.
