How much did it cost to gold plate the frame if you don't mind me asking?
Did you get each piece platted and re-assembled or can did you just remove all the rubber, lenses and screws?

Also, I am wanting to redo my XX 24Ks since the gold is coming off and they are starting to look like ****. I am wanting to do a polished gold on the bridge and arms and a mat black on the orbs. I am also giving thought to doing the orbs in a chrome black or a polished sliver. My only problem is I am having one hell of a time finding someone that can polish them then gold plate them.

Did you use real gold or is it just a gold colour? I want to use real gold, and if I do the silver orbs, I want to use real silver or white gold.
