Need some clarification on the glove size chart

Just to be absolutely sure, because monkey brain's been overthinking this for a while: 'Tech pack length' refers to the distance between the tip of the middle finger and the base of the palm, and 'Tech pack width' refers to the distance across the palm, roughly inline with where the knuckles are, right? It's probably a bit much to ask on a public forum, but I was about to pull the trigger on a pair of Factory Pilot gloves and I remembered a few anecdotes about Oakley's glove sizes (particularly concerning the Factory Pilot/SI Assault gloves) being fairly wack relative to other brands, so I guess I'm looking for some peace of mind haha.

Suppose it also helps to specify, I usually run a Medium with other gloves I've tried (OR Ironsight, Mechanix M-Pact).

Also, is there any tangible difference between the Factory Pilot and SI Assault gloves besides the name?
