New Oakley Deep Water Prizm Polarized

Hi,

I'm new to Oakley, and have just bought a pair of Deep Water Prizm Polarised. My main intention is to use them for driving, however I appreciate that this is not their intended use.

Using them now in medium light conditions, car lights are creating a "ghosting", for want of a better word. This does not happen with my cheaper light grey, non Polarised, non Oakley lenses.

Can anyone tell me why?

Many thanks!

I’ve never noticed any of that but I don’t wear polarized lenses either.

Not just Polarized - virtually all oakley lenses do it.

Only a few that do not and I’m now aware that Light Grey doesn’t ghost either. :)

We should start a list of non ghosting lenses. It wouldn’t be very long..

The subject comes up for discussion every three years or so I’ve noticed.

What are non-ghosting lenses?!!!
:acute:
The only ones I've experienced are the lenses proximal to the iris.
IMHO, "ghosting" occurs when light is reflected off the eye, into the back of the sunglasses lens. It can also be observed when ambient light is directed in the same plane as the wearers direction of vision (say, a lighted vehicle approaching from the rear).
