New Romeo and juliets incoming?

Printed titanium filament or powder COULD be really strong, as long as each "ply" is printed in an opposing direction from the ply below it. Now, I'm not sure how they would be able to print the pin and screw holes, as those would seem like definite weak points imo. Maybe cast those parts of the frame, and print the rest of it onto them?
 
I think this is pretty cool. I did not read the entire chain but did you all see that these are 3D printed? Maybe they will continue to make other new versions????

3D printing sounds as a slow production process, fitting just for small series as this one...
