New Rule - 12/20 - Paypal F&F No Longer Allowed

This it to alert all members of a new rule coming out. As of December 20th 2015, the following rule will be in effect:

• Members may no longer request PayPal F&F as a method of payment
• All payments should be sent through G&S to comply with PayPal terms of service
• Members may not request 3% additional fee's on top of Price - All prices must include using PayPal G&S

These rules are here to protect our members and protect the board. It is against PayPal Terms of Service to request Friends & Family payments, or to charge 3% on top of any transaction. They may come after you, and they may come after the board.

Secondly, over the past few years, the one trend we have seen in terms of bad deals is that all of them use F&F payments. What typically happens, is a member does a deal F&F, the seller gets busy, goes on vacation etc. and the buyer panics, screaming to the heavens that they are being scammed. Then 4 days later, the seller replies and all is fine. The bottom line, is this can easily be solved, along with a slew of other problems by utilizing PayPal correctly. At the end of the day, if you are purchasing a $100/$200 pair of sunglasses, the 3% really is not much more for peace of mind.

Sure some members will still use F&F through PM/Private, elsewhere, but this is out of our control and you are proceeding at your own risk.

The bottom line:

• Any threads that request F&F, or 3% fee, will be warned, and deleted within 24 hours if not edited appropriately.
• Any deals gone bad that utilize F&F will no longer be looked at/moderated by a member of the Staff

Once again this rule will go into effect on 12/20/15.

Now when a member has a transaction that has gone bad and wants moderator intervention it won't be necessary since G&S should have been used.

If F&F was used than you are ON YOUR OWN.
