Oakley impact protection

Does all Oakley lenses meet ansi impact protection standard or is it only the standard Issue ones?

The ANSI Z87.1 standard applies to the entire sunglasses, not just the lenses. All Oakley lenses are made to the same impact protection standard, but the frames may or may not qualify.

Then, all the frames that do qualify aren't necessarily certified as such. There is a cost with the certification so Oakley will only certify the sets that they market to the industries that require that certification.

all Oakley lenses are impact resistant in that they won't shatter. However i don't believe all lenses are Z87 compliant. Case in point, check out the thickness of SI or ballistic lenses - they're super chunky compared to standard lenses in your lifestyle or wire models
