I had to up my home owners insurance. When I did I included the Oakley's. It doesn't cost that much for a little more piece of mind.

Im pretty sure its frowned upon to get the insurance after something has happened. But I could be wrong.

i ment when you know you collection is worth so much if something happened to it you could not afford to repalce it. then get insurance before anything happens
