Oakley Juliet Tune-up Different From Previous Tune-ups.

Aussie does a pretty good job, my XX came back like new, as was my r2. dont forget to ask for spare bits while you can to stock up

Yeah, I plan to. They're going to call to discuss rubber options :D

Well, that's what it says on my receipt from the O Vault.. So far my Ti02 and X-Metal frame are there. Hoping they may have some coloured unobtanium left.

I'll be interested to see how mine come back. I sent mine back in to our Australian division.

Fingers crossed they come back fairly tight.

As long as they have even flex. From the left to right, they should come back even. One pair I sent in is super tight on one side and loose as a goose on the other. The other pair come back like what everyone is saying not tight but together. I can see the gaskets in there. So I know that there is something there. The ones that didn't tighten up on one side, they always have been loose since I got them on that side. It's not the only pair that I have gotten like this. I think it's from the bridge being drilled wrong. Putting the mount piont out further. I wish I could get some rivots to take them apart and try something.

ahha ok. dont count on them calling you. in about a week, call in to check up on it. my pennys got lost for awhile there before on a tuneup job.. mixup between the warranty replacement line and the repair lines lol! nearly got lost. also, trued colored unobs, only got black and rootbeer last i checked

just got 2 pairs back from oakley canada and they were so tight that i had to change the temple sizers to get them on. went from 25 to the 15.

We have talked about this before. Even when they released the IH Juliet, numerous of us talked about how loose the frame was on this model BNIB. I compared it to several of my Juliet's and none of them came close to being as loose right out of the box.

i hade that too. when i bought in my tio2 xx, it was tight like it would hardly move. with that kind of toughness i think the rivet holes suffer from it.

i could not say its loose, but i can confirm that it is soft.

its is probably the new compound they're using for the couplers. now i feel better knowing it its natural to be soft, i just hope this wold last longer and wont crumble from sitting in the display.

Just got a pair back from Oakley Australia. Wonderfully tight! I sent them in without lenses, screws and gaskets and they didn't replace the gaskets or screws. I should have been more specific when submitting this pair.

I thought it was pretty poor too. BUT, at the end of the day I only asked for a tune.

The vault didn't have any spares when I picked them up - which is odd since they do custom and they had Juliet frames with the lenses in but not attached on display..

I'll call the warranty dept tomorrow and have them send some. Plus I'll have them note do add them to my other 3 frames in for tune!
