Oakley Lenses For Darker/Overcast Conditions?

Having never thought about wearing sunglasses in the evening or when it's anything other than sunny (mainly because I have black iridium lenses currently), do people actually do this and what are the effects?

Can you really see better with certain lenses in the evening/cloudy compared with the naked eye?

Yellow is quite nice for cloudy conditions. Brightens up everything.

VR28 BIP on cloudy days. I can keep them on when it turns sunny too. I was thinking of getting clear rubies thou.
