Oakley minute FMJ finish is REALLY peeling.

Oakley minute FMJ matte finish is really pealing. Underneath is crome colored and the partially shiny black.
What's the best way to get rid of the rest of it... it's a trash pair at this point, may as well paint it in my colors or something at least. Lol

I have used this on 2 different fmjs and it took it off no problem. I left it in there overnight then it pretty much dissolved the coating just had to peel off a little bit. DONT use it to take anything off of clear frames it discolored them. You can get it at home depot for 5.49 a gallon. Use it at full strength dont dilute and wear rubber gloves.

Probably not the right way, but I have soaked a peeling FMJ Splice frame in acetone for prob 5-6 min, and it peeled right off.
 
Oh it works unbelievably good on FMJ and it's not caustic like acetone but it does take over night and you need to wear gloves just like acetone
