If that's 50 pct off a new pair if YOU damage them that's not bad. The warranty only covers product failure- has nothing to do with you say, gouging a lens or sitting on them etc.

It is a bit un Lux like for sure. I mean, they basically make single use sunglasses at this point so I assumed the strategy was to sell every consumer a dozen pairs a year of Chinese crap at ridiculously inflated prices - this wouldn't fit that model.
