If that's 50 pct off a new pair if YOU damage them that's not bad. The warranty only covers product failure- has nothing to do with you say, gouging a lens or sitting on them etc.

Sounds like the standard Sunglass hut 'benefit' they have here in Australia. I think they called it the "oops package" - if you break your frame or damage your lenses, you can take it back to SGH with original receipt and get replacement for half price. I've not bothered to look into the T&Cs cus I don't buy Oakley stuff through SGH
