I think that's open for interpretation. It's a completely different name for starters. If it was a Gen 4 RJ they would have called it, Racing Jacket Next Generation and not Plazma

your right the frame was just inspired by the racing jacket according to the website

I feel like I read somewhere the goal was to be a "less wild/toned down Racing Jacket" by Oakley. Email or AD perhaps, can't remember.

Not really a Gen 4, but a sister to the RJ.

Either way, I have 5 Plazmas and love them, they need a Prizm Trail lens available.

I don't see Prizm Trail listed? Trail Torch is there. Different lens altogether.
