Oakley Speed Jacket Sunglasses

Now I do think the price of these Speed Jackets is outrageous and therefore carries questionable consumer worth after the Fast Jacket got cut sooner than later. But to judge its aesthetic and inspired quality...don't mean to be cold, but unless you're on active duty, Oakley never really had you in mind.

The design is very functional for its purpose as well as the recent SI line, and has taken a more simplified aesthetic in doing so. For the longest time, outside of the Ballistic M-Frame, all they did was carry over mainline pairs. It's great that Oakley has been more dedicated in opening selection for the people who need it..
Well said. I think we can often overlook the intended purpose of SI models.

I bought a pair of the shallow water online, got a great deal and like them. However, I agree they are not earth shattering new, in fact the lenses is an exact duplicate of the Flak Draft, they are completely interchangeable. It also shares some similarities with the 2.0s however as mentioned before they obviously were made for uniformed folks whether military, police, fire department. I personally like the colored lenses on the flat black. Again, not earth shattering new or different.

These are perfect for the military. They fit the regulations we have covering the wear of sunglasses. Them being completely blacked out is great and very difficult to find in a pair of sunglasses. And I haven't looked at the array of lenses, but I assume that they're all authorized colors to wear.

Mine are dead after just a few months. I got some mud on them and they were scratched beyond fubar. Then to make matters worse, the quick release kept falling apart. Now the latch and spring are gone. Useless now, unless I want to glue in a lens.
Im getting sick of Oakley
