Oakley sponsored NASCAR

Nascar has different levels of sponsorship which determines how many logos are placed on a teams car/suit. They also have the ability to place a logo on their car just if a company has done them favors and they agree to it(on a race by race basis). Thats why theres always different schemes...$$$

Apparently you can have competing companies sponsor you concurrently. Tony Stewart is sponsored by Oakley and Wiley X at the same time. Its hard to believe oakley pays someone while they are wearing a different brand of shades...

It's not necessarily the same product. WileyX made do the sunglasses while Oakley does the apparel. Most if not all of the teams Oakley sponsors in the NHRA are apparel contracts, not glasses. They wear the glasses because they want the best. Oakley dropped John Force Racing one year and Don Schumacher Racing the next. Those were apparel deals, the drivers for the most part still wear Oakley sunglasses.
