Really excited to receive all 6 pairs of frames I have sent out to sample each of the current 6 available mirrored lenses in the Transitions XTRActive line In my Rx. My first impressions are that all mirrored hues appear to have a permanent faint tint to them and become more pronounced depending on the angle. Non of the 6 colors appear to become permanently clear indoors, even at night. The silver mirror lens may be the closest to “appear” clear when indoors but even then, would still resemble a Titanium Clear iridium effect. I’d like to share a comparison photo of all 6 lens colors in both indoor and activated state. I’ve elected using a grey base for all of them since I prefer neutral colors versus contrast if I had gone with the bronze base. Enjoy.

WOW!!!! Thank you for the side by side comparisons!!! Those all look great. I Think you did a good job w frame selection. I like the red on overlord, blue on moonshot, and green in the "aviator".
Silver on Silver w Holbrook Ti wasn't a bad move either. Who's ready to order 6 lens sets in RX with the Transitions XtrActive Brown base?

You think there will be a noticeable variance with brown base? I feel like the gold will certainly look more like 24k iridium if brown base was used. Not sure how the other 5 colors will turn out.

I think it's more like this...
The red mirror w grey base looks like ruby iridium, with brown base looks more like prizm ruby.
The blue mirror on grey base looks like ice iridium, blue on the brown base looks more like the old shallow blue iridium.
It's going to be fun to eventually see them all.
This was already basically the perfect post for that.

I have the frames but don't have anymore $$$ to find out lol
