After Pats scored the touchdown to make it 28-9, the Falcons played to "not lose"...

And then Brady scored 25 unanswered points - yall, that's 3 TD's and a 2pt conversion...

That iconic and legendary...

Then Edelman's catch happened and you just knew the Patriots were going to win...

Never doubt the greatest QB to ever live...
It is interesting seeing various takes on this game.

Sorry, but losing a 25 point lead is a choke job any way you look at it...

The two plays they made before they had to punt to the Pats was critical...all you had to do was run on 3rd down and kick @ 53-54 yard FG to go up 2 possessions with less than 3 min remaining...

Those 3rd down penalties were awful. Falcons needed to score once more and they failed. That's that IMO.

...with the wind blowing 3 mph to the east inside a dome, and the ball to rotate at an 80 degree axis towards the left one-third of the marks while having Lady Gaga poker face play in your head...

IDK, as primarily a college ball watcher (no I'm talking about football get your mind out of the gutter), it's amazing to see how much of a difference momentum can make in a game. Watching this pro game, that's what I saw, the Falcons gained momentum in the 2nd but the Pats rallied and took it in the 4th, which carried into OT.

Yeah, that may sound like a bunch of ethereal BS - momentum, is that a real thing? They just got tired, etc.

But if it was all about skills and stamina then the simulations would be accurate all of the time. What you can't (or at least can't yet) simulate is the psychology of the game. The mindset of the players has a major impact on a team's performance, and that's what momentum is.

So when you look at what Brady did there, he made some plays but he didn't win it by himself. A number of players on both sides of the ball made the critical difference. What Brady did, it took the wind out of the Falcons' sails and gave his team the momentum.

I bet when the NFL comes out with the 2017 schedule, this rematch will be the first game of the season. Ughhhhhhh in Foxboro, no less lol

When the Patriots won the flip and got possession, it was over...

Falcons defense was gassed and depressed that they had just given up a 93 yard drive to allow the game to go into overtime...

@ 10 plays later, Patriots are in the end zone...
