Ok..So Who Bought These?

Is there a way to verify xm serial Penny original ruby lenses?

The serial on the frame will let you know about the frame, but there are no unique OEM markings on the lenses themselves - OEM packaging is a good bet, otherwise you just have to study and know your lenses...

Some lenses are etched, which helps, but even the "polarized" etching is copied on some aftermarkets...

Honestly, you kinda learn through touch. A lot of the aftermarket lenses are thinner, or feel plasticy... It's really hard to tell vs some if you haven't handled a few lenses. These are definitely 100% not Ruby Iridium though. At best they are a custom cut from someone using OEM Positive Red Iridium lenses.. which would make the price great honestly. Unfortunately several companies make a similar to positive red iridium lens.. and several of them are made for the Penny. And most of the offbrand companies other than Linegear sell for no more than 30.

Yeah, I wasn't saying for sure that they were LG, just that it was a possibility. And like Hando said, if they're custom cuts then that was a great deal. But, without knowing for certain one way or the other, odds are more likely they're 3rd party and I wouldn't have taken the risk.

Occam's Razor, all things being equal the simplest explanation is usually the correct one; doesn't mean a non-simple explanation isn't true, it just means the burden of proof lies with the non-simple explanantion...
