OMG XMetal shirts

We all know we aren’t getting X-Metals made from the original X-Metal Ti alloy.

The Badmans (which I would never consider an X-Metal and kudos to Oakley for eventually removing the X-Metal branding from all marketing) were a quality pair of glasses. I got mine cheap at a vault.

If they were to use the aluminum from those (and no plastic hybrid) and create something with a Juliet like design I’d be ok with that as a “gen 2” X-Metal.

Nothing will be as good as the originals, but they can get close if they really wanted to.

Did you just call bad/mad mans quality?

They were marketed at $400+ and currently sell for about $100 depending on colorway.

Lol well for what I paid for them they’re not bad. Eliminate the plastic hybrid crap and the actual aluminum would work.

Lol true and tons floating around the Internet cheap with no rubbers, which are impossible to find.

All I’m saying is if they can get the design and price right I’d buy a pair. We shall see. I personally don’t think Lux has the vision for it but I’m hoping there’s a designer there somewhere in the Oakley branch that can get it right.

I mean....they steer the company away from the direction of xmetals and all the badassery they represented in their time..... and then throw the xmetal logo on some multicolored shirt that looks like something they would of worn in the Goonies movie....come on man!
