I use both about the same amount of time. OO has a bit more of a natural tint with just a bit of warm contrast while VR28 has more contrast and alters colors more (browish tint) VR28 is better with snow and in overcast conditions, but I generally prefer OO as a daily lens.
Exactomundo!

Here’s my brand new in box...well out for pics...pair of Jury’s. I have little experience with Vr28 polarized but I’ve always loved OOBIP

BOTH!

But, I'd lean VR28 BIP.
VR28 BIP is my all time favorite with OO BIP in barely 2nd. That's even with Prizm lenses in the mix.
The enhanced contrast of VR28 is just constantly soothing to my eyes and love the way it makes everything from grass, trees, the road, and other cars pop while doing all the driving I do. When driving in and out of shade, it's tough to ask for a better performing lens. Perfect for any season sun up to sun down even when it's pouring down rain.

OO BIP is my pick for when I know there's a bit more light in the situation. If I'm going to be outside in the open or in the backyard, etc. and not in and out of the shade several times. A very close second... If VR28 BIP hadn't won my heart first, it would be OO BIP's for the taking. Both are just crazy versatile.

I know this is a bit of a dated thread, but does anyone have both VR28 BIP and OO BIP that can post pics both from the front and through the lenses? I have some VR 28 BIP and love them and debating on an OO, but want to see it, first. Thanks
