Ordered Ralph Lauren "polarized" sunglasses but weren't actually polarized.

So I'm not sure what to do here. I ordered my good friend a pair of these

which clearly say they are polarized in the description. However my friend happens to be a certified optician. Usually polarized glasses are obvious when they are polarized as it is but she has special machinery to test them and they are NOT polarized. Has this happened to anyone else before? What would happen in this situation?

You don't need special machinery to test for polarization - you can do it with any LCD screen.

What did the Ralph Lauren forum have to say?

Actually, I don't know if there is or not. And really, I wasn't trying to give you a hard time, either.

I just don't really understand the thought that a bunch of hard-core Oakley enthusiasts and collectors would know that sort of specific info about Ralf Lauren shades. Whole different animal.

to save you the return trouble, explain it to your friend (polarized on the site, not polarized in person). let her decide, it is her money...
