Nice catch; I hadn't noticed they were missing...

1st gen OTTs had the pads just stuck on there with adhesive, like a sticker. Sometimes they came off. 2nd gen had them installed more permanently, embedded in the frame...

Worth mentioning that replacement pads can be sourced.

Sorry to ask on you trade, but are there 2 editions of over the tops. I see some don't have the pads on the front

Yessir! I received these with no box or pads unfortunately. Just the frames and bag.
