A friend of mine bought this pair of Penny that have been used with little care and I would like to know what she could do in order to restore them.
I’ve seen Linegear has some components (screws, rubbers etc) and lenses but what exactly isn’t working here in terms of components?
-I think the nose bridge is okeish, slightly movement but can be tightened more for sure
-Big issues are the tempes extremely loose. They do click once opened but then are floppy and moves
-Some screws seem rusty
-Some parts of the frame seems oxidized
Is it still possible to restore them?
Thanks for the tips
I’m based in Italy, I don’t know if you know someone in EU or Italy that does this but eventually I will consider sending them to UK or USA to the reputable repairers if you recommend is worth repairing them.
