So my little cousin showed up today and managed to mark (a couple of cms long) one of the lenses when I
was not paying attention.
Not sure if this is covered elsewhere on OF and am familiar with rubbing alcohol, etc but was wondering if there were any pointers/suggestions keeping iridium coating, etc in mind?
Mine are Oakley transition lenses (that is not a scratch by the way).
Thanks in advance,
M.

I've removed permanent marker from a black iridium lens with 70% ethanol with no issues to the lens.

Edge shaving gel works wonders. apply to area and rub till it goes from gel to cream, let sit, wipe off.

Boarding school when someone shaving cream bombed our room. In cleaning i saw it erased permanent marker off all my CD's that I had labeled. Also does wonders for white boards.
Cool.

They should have figured that out in Horrible Bosses 2. ;)
