Pit boss 1 vs pit boss 2

Can any one tell me the difference between pit boss 1 vs pit boss 2?
I noticed that pit boss 2 don't get to much love from the O brotherhood...

Pb1 is part of the elite line, pb2 is not. That being said i do like both of them. Pb1 has no unobtanium (rubber) on the earstems or nose bridge, pb2 does. Pb1 also has more 'metal' coverage and the elite 'o' icons. Im sure there are better experts than me that can weigh in.
I will say that because of the rubber on the earstems, the pb2 stems feel much thicker on my ears...ymmv

Pb2 is essentially a sporty version of the pb1. ITs tighter and straighter fitting. It is not an elite line sunglass so it is not sought after like the pb1

@P226 has pretty much nailed the biggest differences.
The O Brothers seem to have determined at a preconceived notion that PBII is inferior but in my opinion the hold their own pretty well.
The entire community cannot get past the missing elite icon even thou PBII in its own rights are outstanding shades.

Aggressive design especially the orbitals, maybe even more so than the PBI.
A little more bulky and bigger but never the less a significant piece. And they can be had much, much cheaper than any of the PBIs.
The fit is slightly different.

Some find it to be more comfortable over time due to the rubber sleeves and bombs, but I've never had any issues with this on the first iteration. I find them comfortable enough.
And build quality is outstanding.
I would not pass up a chance for either if you've never touched them, but yes PBI has a special something about it. Never doubt that for a second.

The biggest downfall of Oakley in this regard was leaving out the Elite Logo, yet sharing the name
Through all my experience with the two, that really is the difference.

Rubbers, colors of the frames, the "O", wooden box and the type of metal that is used are the difference. Both look badass, I prefer the PB2 due to the rubbers and price.

PitBoss 2 has only 3 colorways and to my knowledge no special editions.

If I remember right the Indy 500 and the matte black are identical besides the lense etching and box.
