PLATE Custom Work, Lens Exchange Help

Maybe this should have gone in here. I posted this in the regular thread. Anyway.......

I am looking at maybe doing some custom work on some Plates.
Does the Lenses come out easy?
Also do the ear stem/arms come off?
Anyone ever done any custom work on Plates.

I am looking at doing a Hammer finish with some new lenses.

Metallic finish with a pitted look. Should look great with the look of those glasses.
