Polished Carbon Finish Re-Creation?

There are some good Carbons, like the "Silver" Carbon Juliet and I've seen some good Polished Carbon X-Squared and some of the Ichiro are very shiny. I believe the original Polished Carbon was an anodized finish using some kind of mad science proprietary chemical compound which they zapped with XXX volts of electricity for XX minutes to get that hard black coating but with the metal shining through.

As an alternative, Cerakote Graphite Black black looks very nice and goes down easily on the X Metal titanium. I prefer no gloss application as it gives a nice flat black. Better than typical OEM Carbon IMO. We also Cerakote pins and screws and it works great to make unique customs.
