I usually say, don't mess with @Dnkeyhnter , but I would definitely break my rule and get some of those polished R1s, and that matte/cerakote/whatever he wore yesterday!!!!

Just my small contribution to this thread, I think that certain lens colours complement polished frames.

Certain frame/lens combinations just work ICE/Plasma, Ruby/X-Metal, OO Red/Carbon and VR28BIP/Polished (particularly with rootbeer rubber). I am not really a great fan of Fire Iridium, but those look nice in polished frames also.

I see so polished gives that statement feeling...

It's because polished give a 'high contrast' look from a distance - high contrast is more pleasing.

Although - Matte frames are also amazing in their own way.

It's all good
