I’ve seen too many polished Romeos that look so awesome so I’ve started my own project. How many hours do I have in front of me?😂😜 Anybody else polish theirs too? What was your process?
@Scarface has been guiding me:)

Five or six hours later with increasingly finer wet and dry.

Coarser grits will remove deeper scratches and I ended up with 10,000 grit for a finish I am happy with.

Still room for improvement, which I will do next time I service them, probably finishing off with Mothers Alu polish.

I bought 280, 800, 1200. Gotta find 600 and 2000 this week. But a 10,000 grit sounds nice:)

Also need some polish. I hear Mothers is the best.

I bought mine off Amazon - a tenner for 42 sheets from 120 to 10k grit. Enough for about ten frames! Tip - I will definitely wear a pair of rubber gloves next time as I also took quite a bit of skin off my fingers.
