lol well you hit the nail on the head - if I ultimately decide to revert back to BI, that means I'll have to pick up an XM Penny, either OEM with trashed lenses or a beater pair to refinish, for these Rubies and that ain't gonna happen any time soon, even if the right deal came along...

I like both, but voted Ruby. The only real solution is to get another polished frame so you can have your cake and eat it too.

agreed plus changing lenses takes a toe on the frame and lenses itself.

that's only if the lenses are super tight for a frame. I always carry 1 frame + multiple sets of lenses when I travel; and I used to swap them around before I ended up with a massive collection.
