I got rubber material, but not to sure its gonna work. I used hot glue since it took the form when hot then cooled into a pretty good gasket. It flexes but it's not to loose... Ill see how that hold up

I always thought a chain tool for bicycles would work. I checked into it and the pin on the tool was too big, so it wouldn't work. I think a press similar to that would be great, just have to find one that fits.

i simply use the T6 drive, place it on the pin, a few taps later its coming out.

How are you keeping the glasses itself stable? Table mounted vise with a towel to protect the frames?

I remove the stems and you'd be surprised how well the glasses will stand in place. A tool or thin sheet of rubber is a must to get the frame protected.
