I have the Radar EV Pitch in DWP, and I don't see purple/pink glare on anything.

Both are excellent in my opinion. Why not try them both?

I think it all depends on what your needs are.
I like the VR28BIP for every day wear. I feel colors are more natural. But I do think DWP is great around water. I love bringing them to the beach or boating, etc.
I think if you live near the water or around the water alot go DWP.
But for every day use not around the water go VR28BIP. I like brown/amber lenses for every day more.
Both are great lenses. And the iridium coating seems heavier to me on DWP maybe for the water glare.

Have both of these, VR28BIP works better for me on extra bright days and is vermilion base. Rose base DWP excellent for water glare.
