Question About An X-metal XX 24K??

So I have a new in the box never worn X-metal XX 24K
It does not have a serial number?
Can someone let me know why it does not have one?

Those released toward the end of its lifespan had no serials.

They are not worth much less at all being BNIB you should be able to ask top dollar for them
