Question About Bob Burnquist Fuel Cells

I saw on here that someone had a pair of his Gascans and that the bamboo icons were splintering almost, like peeling in a way. I was wondering if anyone had the Fuel Cell version and could tell me what they think of em and/or post pics. Thanks a lot

Yes it's true since it is bamboo wood they will be prone to splintering, but I have a pair and i did have a piece of the bamboo wood I had to take off, it was sticking out. I feel Oakley could have put some sort of coating on the bamboo wood icon's to keep them from being damaged. But for the most part, they are fine, I wouldn't worry to much about the icon issue. But i've only had them for a few months.
