Question on early Juliet.

Did the early Juliet boxes have the serial number on them? I'm talking 1999-2000.

These are both the early style box, with coloured picture. There is no white space to write a serial in either, like there was on early Romeo and Mars boxes.

Interestingly, one is 99 rev A and one 99 rev B, despite the numbers being fairly close.

I thought that too. Unfortunately both boxes were bought separately so I don't have the pairs to check against. It is the type of box the earliest Juliets came in though.

Actually, I think the x-metal box might have a matching pair... I'll check.

Hmmm, the serial on the pair is 12 out from that on the box. It has no A suffix but I guess without matching exactly, it's not 100% conclusive.

I found a picture that shows that the earliest Juliet boxes did have the white panel for a serial to be written in.
