R1 Lenses - some not fitting

Those lens look like they are installed backwards

I know it looks that way, but that’s from the other pair. Even the other 3 sets I have don’t fit. Only the walleva ones it came with fit.

Custom cut ones. So explains why the edge looks like it’s designed for the outside.

Looks like a plating strip & frame refinish is the only way forward on this one......

You could try to grind or blast out the plating from the lens channel

You can also send them to @pjd1234 and have him chop a set for that frame, he did these.

+Red on Polished is a good look

Yeah if too much material is taken off lenses would not fit properly.
