Removing Pit Boss Plates

Hey Folks,

Could someone be kind enough to tell me the process of removing the titanium plates on the Pit Boss? Obviously remove the screws, but after that I am kind of lost.

And by screws, I mean the little hex ones on the bottom, not the ones featured on the fakes..

Any idea what works best? I take it the anchor points are moulded into the plates?
