repairing scratches on a MM?

Bought a MM years ago, didn't treat it nicely because I wasn't used to wearing a watch. Now wanting to wear again but it has a bunch of scuff all over the band and case. Anyone know of a way to safely get those buffed out?

If it isnt polished lol.

You can brush out scratches using steel wool. Go with the grain of the original brushed finish. Some say 00 others say 000 matches the original finish the best.

Yeah if it's polished you're pretty much SOL, the polished MMs are a coating and trying to buff out scratches just removes more of the polished coating.

Hi all,
I just thought I would add to this post with my method of refurbishing the Brushed titanium OMM bracelet, see attached images.

I use a rough green kitchen scourer, this gets out most light scratches, you could use something coarse on the deeper scratches but you may start to flatten out the edges, then finish with the green kitchen scourer.
