Repairs for 1st gen t-wire arms?

I have an original pair of T-wires that need either to be repaired or replaced if at all possible. The "points" where the arms meet the hinges on both sides were rounded over when I took a football to the face as I wore them about 2 weeks after purchase. They've since languished disgustedly in their box in my dresser. I would love to resurrect them for daily wear, and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Anyway I tried to show each hinge point and the resulting issue when opened.

Easiest way to deal with this is to wear a lanyard. Second easiest way is to get a new stems from an old beater e wire.

Thanks for the response, any recommendations where to source? In the meantime, I'm thinking I'll upgrade my membership so I can use the classified section. This pair has only been worn about 10 times and aside from the stems, they're in absolutely flawless shape.
